My books make me happy. I’ve always been an avid reader and had a vivid imagination. Ask my mom, I could play make-believe games or be read to for hours. One of these days I swear I’ll write a book of my own. Until then, I get lost in the worlds on these shelves and am constantly searching for more to add.

What’s your happy for today?
Many wonderful thanks to @tami_moore for the awesomely cute bunnies in the banner!

Oh, what a gorgeous set of bookshelves! Where will Olivia’s books live? (And have you started buying them yet? I know it’s early days, but egads I love children’s books!)

I love IKEA. We’re actually buying a separate set of shelves for her room and that’s where her books will live. Hopefully I’ll have a rocker or a glider in her room too so I can read to her. I do already have some books! I have the full 4-book set of Classic Pooh books, a Winnie the Pooh Opposites Book, an awesome board book I found at Marshalls named Olivia (how cool is that!), a Classic Winnie the Pooh pop-up book that was my stepdad’s when he was little (it’s old and awesome), and a Pokey the Little Puppy Golden book that my brother-in-law’s girlfriend bought us for Christmas. So she has a little collection started. I really hope she loves books as much as I do…

You must get her the Olivia the Pig series…besides being her name, they are a great series that children love. I also really like Eric Carle (the Very Hungry Caterpillar). Oh but I love children’s books as well!
