I love Mama Kat’s Writer’s workshop. If you haven’t yet participated in this, it’s fantastic and easy to do. It’s a fun writing exercise and highly recommend it to anyone whether or not you’re a “writer.”
Today, I picked a slightly harder prompt. Hard because I haven’t written a haiku since grade school. Sitting here counting syllables on my fingers made me laugh.
Write a Haiku that describes what you love about an ordinary day.
Ready? Here goes:
Big mug of hot tea
Feeling Olivia kick
Bliss and motherhood
Ta-da!!
*accepts the accolades and applause with a slight bashfulness*
